Data & Operations Manager

Patrick Gower, MPA, is the Data & Operations Manager for ECHO-Chicago. When not coordinating different series and assisting in the management of databases, you’ll find him experimenting with different culinary styles in the kitchen with his significant other, watching and discussing various films from around the world, or in a different country travelling and familiarizing himself with various cultures. A Kentucky native, Patrick moved to the Chicago area in the fall of 2017. Patrick holds a Master of Public Affairs specializing in Policy Analysis, Nonprofit Management, and International Development from Indiana University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Kentucky. Before joining ECHO-Chicago he was a project coordinator with the University of Kentucky’s Institute of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy and the Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences and following that he was an administrative specialist and fellowship coordinator with the University of Chicago’s Section of Nephrology. Patrick’s favorite aspect of ECHO-Chicago is that it seeks to fill the socioeconomic gap in access to quality specialized healthcare and he sees a lot of potential in the ECHO model to address other social problems.
